About Drakia

The name of the studio, Drakia, was inspired by the Greek city that was home to the dragons of myth.

The logo, as seen on the top banner, is a simple pictograph of a dragon. I originally sketched out the design I wanted, scanned it, then drew a clean version on the Adobe Illustrator. I picked a royal blue for the primary color and I picked a sky blue for the reverse color. The signature of the logo is typed in the font of Trajan Pro. The letters of the signature are spaced out by a small fraction so that the signature spreads out evenly. The space between the logo and signature is the same size as the x-height (lowercase height). The logo is twice the size as the cap-height, it can be scaled down to the same size as the cap-height for horizontal signs.

When a client requests a project, the process of planning and creating begins. Through the client's feedback, revisions will be made until the completed final is to client satisfaction.

Even though Drakia does not cover printing, affordable printing companies are suggested to clients. Drakia will provide projects within a Portable Document File suitable for printing, the PDF would be submitted through e-mail or in a portable disk.

Drakia does cover web design, however it is the client's responsability for setting a webhosting account. If the client cannot find a webhost, Drakia recommends the WTC communications.
